Engage At Home videos.

To make it easy for parents, each week’s Engage At Home activity comes with a short video. The videos serve as tutorials for parents to pick up tips from our specialists and learn how to facilitate the activities with their child. Alternatively, parents may watch the Storytelling videos with their children and be swept away to our magical storyland!

For parents who do not speak Mandarin but wish to support your child in Mandarin acquisition at home, rest assured that you will be given the support to conduct the Mandarin Engage At Home activities! Our Mandarin videos come with English subtitles, while the accompanying kits also include inserts with Han Yu Pin Yin and English translations.

During your subscription period, you will have 24/7 access to the Engage At Home videos in your personal GWL account. This allows you to view the videos and conduct the activities with your child any time at your convenience in the comfort of your home.

LiveClass Online comprises interactive “live” sessions conducted by experienced GWL learning specialists following the GWL curriculum that helps babies to learn through songs, rhymes, stories and activities. Expect fun and upbeat classes as our specialists take you and your child through popular and developmentally-appropriate themes and topics!

Interactive “show and tell” featuring our live guest - Zeus the parrot!

In this English LiveClass Online session, the children learnt about birds through an interactive “show and tell” featuring our guest - a live parrot! As our GWL specialist introduced the bird’s features such as its beak, wings and tail, children were encouraged to also identify and match the same parts on their puppet bird (part of the kits). This sensory activity not only builds children’s vocabulary, but also lets them learn about different textures through exploration!

Storytelling through shadow puppetry.

In this Mandarin LiveClass Online session, the heartwarming story of friendship between two birds and a tree was brought to life through a fascinating shadow puppetry activity. Through the storytelling, children fostered listening skills as well as picked up new vocabulary related to the topic of the week - animals that fly! They also got to witness an exploration of shadows and light as the story unfolded on stage.
